The Ronnie Wibbley Orchestra - Bat bi hiru lau

Bio: Ronnie Wibbley is best known as one half of The Wibbley Brothers, proto-electro troublemakers who have been frightening people since their first record release 25 years ago. During delays whilst working on their new album "Mornin' Jack" Ronnie recruited some friends and recorded a number of new tracks, of which this is the first.

Ronnie Wibbley - ukulele, guitars, voice
Manolita, Txaro, Pablo - voices
Ramón Ramón - viola section
Hammer Malone - trumpets
DJ Nappyhead - electrics

Track:

"Bat bi hiru lau" is a ukulele-soaked reflection on the joys or otherwise of parenthood compared to the free and easy days when the couple first met, many years earlier.

I remember "Two"
Two was sunlit walks in foreign hills
Bicycles and orchards
Two was also weekends away in new cities
Galleries and bars
Restaurants late at night
And lying in on Sundays
Two was children pretending to be grown up
Or grown ups acting at being children
Dinner parties and laughing at jokes no-one really understood
Two was all these things

Off to bed by half past ten
Four is now and Two was then
