If you like music, you’ll love the music here. Sign up today for a low, low introductory price of 51 minutes of your time and receive an auditory thrill that will thrill your grandchildren too. The Rabbits reside somewhere on planet Earth. Catering to a wide galactic audience is not an easy task but the Rabbits are doing it for you, man, woman and all the in betweens. As Matthew Orzeszek, the brains behind the whole thing, would put it, the Rabbits make “wholesome music for all people.” Enjoy.

Squeezing one out is as easy as one may think. You simply squeeze. The question remains, what exactly is being squeezed and out of what? The answer may very well lie somewhere on the second Rabbits album “Squeeze One Out”. An adventure that could impact your life in such a way that you end up humming these melodies while taking a dump. The Rabbits aim to bang ear drums around the globe and while the globe spins they go ding ding ding and bla bla bla with a nice boom boom boom to make things a little more engaging. In a nutshell, we have here another auditory thrill ride that’ll tickle your backbone while you contemplate the ins and outs of…things that go in and out. So squeeze a loved one, squeeze your self and enjoy.

The Rabbits are the darlings of WM Recordings having released three free online albums in a year’s time. But I’m afraid I really didn’t quite catch onto them until the last release, That Cave of Love, part one. The Toronto band, which is actually Matthew Orzeszek plus friends, have such a casual and twisted style that it sneaked up on me. That Cave of Love seems a bit more twisted than the other album and much tighter in concept. Songs like “Chickeny Softness” may have silly lyrics (My wife is saying “They’re not silly, They’re existential!”) but they are nicely surrounded by some sharp guitar work and more than a little cleverness. There is a indie rock feel mixed with a little Beatles influence and a Bonzo Dog Band wit. The Rabbits’ music may never save the world but it will get us a reprise from the usual daily madness called life.
